A Couple More Panos

On December 30, 2009, in G10, Panoramas, Photography, by Jeremy

I shot a few more panoramas yesterday. This one is huge! Its the Chugiach Mountains east of Anchorage as viewed from Government Hill. You can’t really see a lot of the city, and the sun was right above downtown, so I couldn’t take those last few photos on the far right.Chugiach Mountains 4:11pm 12-29-09

This was shot from Captain Cook Park a few minutes later (4:23). You can see Mt. Susitna a.k.a. The Sleeping Lady across the bay. Pretty frakkin’ sweet. Alaskan Mountains rule.

sunset pano 340

Here is a sweet sunset on some low clouds. This was just in the neighborhood, so there’s a house there…kinda lame.

roundhouse pano 340

This is a shot from Midway at Aleyska. The steepness doesn’t really show, but it’s pretty damn steep.

This is at the Roundhouse at the top of the Tram in Aleyska. Way cooler in person, especially because the cables on the lift didn’t match up.
